Paulo José Dias

Born on January 24, 1904, in Lisbon, he was a sea bonfire.

He was arrested on July 7, 1939, “for inquiries”, collecting to the Aljube. Fifteen days later, he was transferred to the North Redoubt of the Caxias Prisoners’ Deposit and, in April 1940, to Peniche, after an order by Agostinho Lourenço determines that he “should remain in preventive detention, having to be transferred to Cape Verde until clarify the international situation “. In June, after visiting the 1st Police Station and again in Caxias, he embarked to Tarrafal, where he died on January 13, 1943. He was 39 years old.
