How to get there

The Aljube Museum of Resistance and Freedom is located at Rua de Augusto Rosa, 42 – 1100-059 Lisbon.

The nearest step-free metro station is Terreiro do Paço (Blue Line) or Baixa-Chiado (Blue/Green Line).
Opposite the museum is a public transport stop for bus 737 (accessible to people with reduced mobility) and trams 12/28.

Entrance

The museum entrance has no steps and a manually operated door that is wide enough for wheelchairs.
The museum has tactile paving.

Tickets
A standard ticket costs €4, with various discounts available, as shown in our price list.
Each ticket for people with disabilities (€2.80) can be accompanied by a free ticket for a companion.
Temporary exhibitions are free of charge.

Assistance dogs
We accept assistance dogs. They must be under your control during the visit. Ideally, they should remain on a leash and wear a suitable harness.

Loan of mobility aids
A wheelchair is available at the Museum ticket office to make your visit more comfortable.

Lockers
We have lockers available where you can store your belongings before starting your visit.
