Lisbon From The Aljube – The Clandestine Opposition

02 October 2018

An itinerary through 6 clandestine houses from the Dictatorship, all immersed in the urban space of Lisbon.

The visit was conducted by Vanessa Almeida and, every place that was visited, counted with the precious support of Adelino Silva, who has a vast experience in clandestinity and a profound knowledge of many of these houses and the people who inhabited them.

An experience to repeat – in these or many other houses of the streets of Lisbon that we never thought could have been clandestine printing houses or places of meeting and refuge or of support of the opponents of the fascist regime of Salazar.
