Traumatic Stress – A Difficult and Necessary Debate
The trauma associated with stress situations that many citizens lived on the course of the last century, was confronted with violence in the prisons of the Dictatorship, or in all other places where they resisted oppression; participating in a long and striking Colonial War that touched millions of portuguese – those who went and also the family that remained – was the subject for a debate that gathered in the Aljube Museum psychiatrists, social scientists and former political prisoners.
