Republican Revolts

The Military Dictatorship could not find an open path for the easy installation of the New Situation. Between 1926 and 1933, a constitutionalist front kept an intermittent civil war that opposed thousands of opponents to the new regime alive, in about 10 revolts and plottings, some of significant dimensions, like the Revolt of February 3-7, 1927. See Presentation
